A building designed for a fine-arts publisher, Jan Stenc (1871-1947). The architect, Otakar Novotny, was Kotera's student and was influenced by the works of the Dutch architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage, and by Frank Lloyd Wright. This is clearly evident in the Stenc House. It is placed in a dark corner of the little square and crowded by the evangelical Renaissance St Salvator Church with Baroque alterations.
