This is a rich wedding cake of Renaissance proportions, a very unusual slant of late Cubism with extravagantly detailed facades, including sculptural decorations by Otto Gutfreund and Jan Stursa's Seafaring statue placed on the cornice of the Narodni elevation. The interiors are rich and colourful, particularly the ground-floor passageway and entrance.
