This apartment building has a plain subtle facade except for the heavy oversailing cornice with Cubist folded-fabric motifs. Its impact is due to the contrast between the handling of the facade and the cornice, and it is a very mild version of a Hodek building further along the same street. It is possible that the architect Josef Chochol was also involved here and advised on the design of this house for Antonin Belada, who was a builder.
