The recent (1990-1992) restoration and cladding replacement revealed the rational structure of the floor plates. The entrance in the Lindt Store passageway was closed off, rather robbing this busy space of additional attraction. The original tubular steel furniture and fittings were substituted by rather limp 1990s imitations.

The building should not be missed in the evening when it glows with light, a giant advert for Bat'a shoes and heroic Functionalist architecture.
